Encontrei este álbum por mero acaso no blog See what you hear que só por isso vale a pena visitarem assiduamente (aproveito para recomendar a audição desta música do Tom Zé que vai andar por Portugal no final do mês).

Do álbum “Insónia” só tenho pontos a favor. Nem um contra.
Um som perfeito numa fantástica edição em vinyl, limitada a 500 exemplares.
Um grafismo sem mácula, ilustrado por Pedro Lourenço.
Podem ouvir o álbum por inteiro (mais um ponto a favor) no site da editora Humming Conch.

E tal como me disseram na Trem Azul, este é possivelmente um dos melhores trabalhos realizados em Portugal.

Oiçam e digam-me o que acharam.

It was hard for me to choose the best video to honor Lhasa de Sela. I thought of choosing “La Celestina” because reminds me the way I got to know her songs, but I ended up choosing a live version of “Love Came Here“, because it’s recent and she seems happy. I’ve post it on video space.

But I just can’t resist and I’m also posting this video “Rising” (from the same series) just because it’s beautiful. I love this song.

Sem dúvida, um dos melhores concertos que vi nos últimos tempos. Apesar de a música não me dizer muito, a energia que conseguiram passar em palco foi tremenda. A dança, a bateria… electrizante. Se tiverem oportunidade de assistir a um concerto deles, não percam. Principalmente se for num local que vos permita dançar, o que não acontece no teatro Tivoli – um dos principais problemas deste SuperBock – uma vez que mantém as cadeiras, o que complica um pouco as coisas.

Boa surpresa no parque de estacionamento do Marquês de Pombal, os Orelha Negra. Uma banda portuguesa com um grande som. Vale a pena ouvir. A próxima vez que passarem por perto, estou lá.
