    Secret Gardens
Just found out another website inspired by the Take Away shows from the Blogotheque, called Secret Gardens (on Hooves on the Turf).
I recommend you start the tour by listening to Sharon Van Etten’s fantastic voice.

    The Sixty One
Another great site for you to discover some great music is the 61.
Interesting way to show the songs.

Susan Sarandon spanking a naughty pig on stage, while Solange Knowles sings a Jackson 5’s cover? WTF?

The most recent acquisition for my vinyl collection:
“Insónia” de Tiago Sousa & João Correia.

A fantastic album that I’ve found while surfing on the blog See what you hear.
In a limited vinyl edition (500), perfectly designed, illustrated by Pedro Lourenço released by the Humming Conch (where you can listen to the entire album).

Listen, and tell me what you think.

«Once you start procrastinating pleasure, it can become a self-perpetuating process if you fixate on some imagined nirvana. The longer you wait to open that prize bottle of wine, the more special the occasion has to be.
How can you avoid the temptation to postpone pleasure?

A agenda provisória de concertos até Maio já está feita.
Falta fazer contas ao dinheiro, saber a companhia e vencer a preguiça.

The concert agenda until May it’s finished. Temporarily, I mean.
I still have to check my bank account, know who’s coming with me… and defeat the couch!

I’m going to start the year with bad news, but I’m hoping that this will be the last ones and that from now on everything will be better.

It was hard for me to choose the best video to honor Lhasa de Sela. I thought of choosing “La Celestina” because reminds me the way I got to know her songs, but I ended up choosing a live version of “Love Came Here“, because it’s recent and she seems happy. I’ve post it on video space.

But I just can’t resist and I’m also posting this video “Rising” (from the same series) just because it’s beautiful. I love this song.

Recorded on Patrick Watson’s loft in Montreal, by Vincent Moon (blogotheque).

“Lhasa, un au-revoir” on La Blogotheque

And one more, now with Patrick Watson. “Between the bars” from ElliotT Smith.

Enquanto espero pela estreia do “Where the wild things are“, resolvi procurar uma curta de animação de 1973 acerca do mesmo livro. Acabei por encontrar algumas coisas engraçadas.

    - 1973 version
    - Playmobil Version
    - Claymation‎ w/ Shpongle music
    - Claymation‎
    - Filmed by high school students, w/ a nice soundtrack
    - 1983 Disney CG Animation test

While waiting for the premiere of the movie “where the wild things are“, I went looking for an 1973 animation movie, based on the same book. In the end, I’ve found out some interesting stuff.

Dexter’s season 4 final episode is absolutely WOW!
I don’t recall a single episode having disturbed me so much. Amazing!
And it’s an absolute success over the internet. Twitter is all about it (spoilers alert!)

Here’s an interview with executive producer Sara Colleton, about the ending of season 4, and the new season 5.
Of course, when it first comes up, you think, oh no, we can’t do that, because we’ve created these characters and we love them.

Also an interview with John Lithgow (Trinity Killer).
I just shocked the daylights out of people, including my wife. At the end of every episode, she’d look at me as if to say, “Who are you?!”
