waikiki
After a magnificent Saturday morning at Bafureira, Sunday we ruined it all by going to Caparica. This time we tried a different beach, but the result was even worse, so a couple hours later we packed our stuff, and went home. It’s been a long time since I had a good morning of surf in…

bafureira
Altough Bafureira is very close to São Pedro’s beach, I had never tried to catch some waves there. It’s always a little bit more crowded than I like, and I really enjoy my little sunny spot in São Pedro. But this Saturday, São Pedro was completely flat, so we decided to try Bafureira, and I…

portuguese water dog
While Barack Obama keeps on looking for his Portuguese Water Dog, Saturday I found one surfing on São Pedro’s beach. His name was Vasco. He completely stole the show. King of the beach. I believe he managed to surf all the waves that went through that peak. Big, small, medium, rare… And there he goes…

summer time
It was a summer day, in all aspects. It was hot, sunny and almost flat. The exception was the water temperature… cold, cold, cold. Nevertheless, it was a great surfing morning, full of sun and enough waves to have fun. And once again, the break was ours. No one else on the water. In the…

surfing sunday
Another great morning to surf, in sunny São Pedro. Today’s hero was Luca, an ex-bodyboarder, that kept on appearing on every wave and on every picture, with his unique style.

beautiful day at são pedro
Great morning in São Pedro. Definitely the best this year. Sun & small waves. We were the first to arrive there, so, for an hour, the beach was ours! Afterwards it started to get a little bit crowded, but we already had a smile on our faces. It was a great weekend.

SUNNY DAY AT CAPARICA
Finally, sunny days, with nice waves are back! We went back to Caparica, and although we weren’t it the right spot, we’ve managed to get some fun. Later on, we’ve seen some pretty good surf in nearby beaches. In this picture, you can see Miguel, a surfer from Ericeira, getting some action.

REMEMBERING
Just to remember the last time I hit the water. Sigh… it was last year… (no, it’s not me in the photo)

SUNDAY SURF
After a mini season surfing in São Pedro, Sunday we decided to go back to Costa da Caparica in a search for better waves. The conditions were good, small waves, good wind, not too crowded… and if it weren’t for a small leg injury, it would have been a great surfing morning. But when there’s…

LAST WEEKEND
Last weekend there were no “giant” waves as expected, but there were some pretty good waves to have some fun. Enough waves to have another edition of the Estoril Surf Festival. The photo above is from the Skimboard championship, in São Pedro’s beach (Estoril). The Longboard European Championship will take place on the 13th and…
